What dispatch covers

Quick Tow Houston works with licensed local operators across the metro. The Inner Loop (Loop 610), the major freeway corridors (I-10, I-45, I-69, Beltway 8), and the surrounding cities are all in scope. A dispatch from the Energy Corridor, Pasadena, the Medical Center, Greenspoint, Gulfton, the East End, Meyerland, or the Heights lands the same way: by the closest available licensed operator.

Suburbs and outlying areas are in scope too: Katy, Sugar Land, The Woodlands, Spring, Cypress, Tomball, Pearland, Friendswood, League City, and Galveston. If you are on a covered freeway, Tow and Go may be the free option first.

How dispatch works

Call (281) 916-1288. The line takes calls around the clock. A Quick Tow operator takes your location, vehicle class, and the situation (breakdown, accident, private-property tow, junk car). The operator then dispatches the closest licensed local operator to your spot.

The dispatched operator calls you back to confirm the price, the ETA, and any access notes (gate code, apartment number, parking level). You do not pay Quick Tow. The dispatched operator takes payment at the truck.

What the operator confirms before dispatch

Before the truck rolls, the operator tells you:

  • The total price for your specific job (vehicle class, hookup, mileage if long-distance)
  • The estimated time of arrival
  • The destination (your home, a repair shop, a dealership, a VSF)
  • Any extra fees (winching, after-hours, storage at the VSF)

If any of those numbers surprises you, say so on the call. The job does not start until you confirm.

When dispatch is not the right call

If you are on a covered freeway (I-10, I-45, I-69, Loop 610, Beltway 8, excluding tollways and the Katy Freeway HOT lanes) and your vehicle is attended, Tow and Go is the free option. The vehicle moves to a safe spot off the freeway at no cost to you.

What the operator needs to hear from you

To get the right truck to your location, the operator needs:

  • Your exact location (cross streets, freeway mile marker, or address)
  • Your vehicle class (sedan, SUV, pickup, motorcycle, box truck, RV, semi)
  • The situation (breakdown, flat tire, dead battery, lockout, accident, private property, junk car)
  • The destination (home, repair shop, dealership, VSF)
  • A callback number

If anything changes between the call and the truck’s arrival, call back. The operator can reroute or update the ETA.

How do I pay? Pay the operator at the truck. Cash, card, and tap-to-pay are common. Ask the operator on the callback which forms they accept.
